Goalkeeper Marco Fontin has left Cagliari by mutual consent.

The 33-year-old signed from Siena in 2006 and has been the Isolani's first choice this term with 12 appearances and 20 goals conceded.

However, the Venetian custodian's position at the club has been compromised by training ground disputes and the arrival of former Milan man Marco Storari seems to have convinced Fortin to leave.
