Roma coach Paulo Fonseca was proud of his players in victory over Udinese.

The Giallorossi were 1-0 up when Federico Fazio was shown a straight red card for a foul on Stefano Okaka.

However they still rallied to win 4-0.

Fonseca said, “We put in a good performance, we had many chances, even a man down. I think we deserved to win.

“We all fought together and continued playing our football, even playing with 10 men. I don't want to talk about the red card, it's all pretty clear.

“The team showed a lot of character, understanding that we needed to defend, but also to attack and be consistently dangerous at the other end. Most teams clam up and defend after going down to 10 men, but we do not."
