Flores not expecting Mario Suarez to take long to adapt at Watford

Mario Suarez is a good enough player to quickly adjust to the Premier League according to Watford boss Quique Sanchez Flores.

The Spanish midfielder joined the Hornets from Fiorentina in a £4million late in the winter transfer window and although he is unlikely to start against Chelsea on Wednesday night, the former Atletico Madrid man is not too far away from first team action under Flores.

"He doesn't know at the moment how we play exactly but he knows me and I know this player," said Flores.

"I think the adaptation time of top players is very quick."

Defensive midfielder Suarez played 35 times for Flores during their stint together at Atletico.
