Real Madrid president Florentino Perez believes Barcelona coach Pep Guardiola would struggle at the Santiago Bernabeu. Perez doesn't believe Guardiola would "fit in" at Real.

He said: "Guardiola is a very competent coach and fits very well in at Barca, but he might not fit into the Real Madrid system.

"The players today are very powerful and need a strong manager with a track record ... Jose Mourinho is like a new force of nature.

"We would have taken him even if Inter Milan had not eliminated Barcelona from the Champions League."
