Real Madrid president Florentino Perez says they must sell this summer to keep Sergio Ramos.

Perez insists he wants the captain to stay as his contract winds down, though insists their budget won't allow them to meet his demands.

He said, "How can I not like him, if I love him like a son?

"It depends on the situation in Madrid, this year we will earn 300 million less. We have to sell a player, do things ... I have done what I could so far and I have not done it wrong. Some say that I don't know about football. I know what it is like to find a club in the year 2000 in which they did not charge for a long time.
