Flight Centre oversee Newcastle Jets travel arrangements

Newcastle Jets have signed a sponsorship deal with Flight Centre, reports, www.sportspromedia.com/.

The deal sees Flight Centre become the Jets' official travel partner for the 2015/16 season.

Flight Centre will activate the new partnership via its digital and social channels, member communications and at selected matches at the Jets' Hunter Stadium.

The A-League side were recently relaunched under the new ownership of the Football Federation Australia (FFA), after the soccer federation revoked the licence of the club's owner Nathan Tinckler, with the club in US$2.1 million of debt and salary payments to players and staff outstanding.

Jets chief executive officer Mitchell Murphy said: "Flight Centre are leaders in their field and we aspire to be leaders in our field.

"We are naturally delighted that at this very early stage of the club's regeneration Flight Centre have chosen to throw their support behind the Jets and football in Northern New South Wales."

"While the club and Flight Centre will share benefits from this partnership, there are some key components that have been included specifically for Jets Members. These will be outlined closer to the start of Hyundai A-League season 11, though the very nature of Flight Centre's business should give some hint as to what lucky Members may be in for."
