Fletcher hoping ex-Man Utd teammates Cole, Tunnicliffe succeed at Fulham

Manchester United midfielder Darren Fletcher hopes former teammates Larnell Cole and Ryan Tunnicliffe can make a name for themselves at Fulham.

Fulham visit United today.

Fletcher told manutd.com: "It is a good move for them. I am really pleased, knowing that they are good players and great lads as well.

"I got in contact with Ryan because I kept in touch with him while he was on loan at Ipswich. I sent him a text wishing him luck and told him to believe in himself because I know how good a player he is and what an opportunity this is for him. He was very responsive to that and is very determined to do that. He wants to be as successful as he can.

"Larny is a fantastic player with unbelievable feet. They are going to a manager [Rene Meulensteen] who believes in them and knows them, which is going to help them as well. I wish them success and I hope they do well."
