Darren Fletcher is delighted Manchester United are returning to the US for this summer's Champions Cup.
Fletcher, whose first ever pre-season tour was the 2003 visit to North America, says the US is always a popular destination with the players and believes it provides the perfect opportunity for team bonding.
"For me, that's the most important aspect of pre-season," the midfielder told MUTV and ManUtd.com. "Of course, it's great to go and see all the new cities, stadiums and fans, and meet people in communities or local schools and different things like that, which we do on tour. But ultimately it's all about being away with the lads and really getting to know each other and having some good banter!
"It'll be great to go back to the States; it's a fantastic place to go. I'm a big fan of going to America as the facilities are always brilliant. There's also good support out there but at the same time you get a bit of down-time as well. All the players always enjoy it."
