Manchester United midfielder Darren Fletcher is backing Javier Hernandez to build on his Champions League winner at Valencia. Mexican Hernandez, 22, was a relative unknown in England when he joined United from Chivas for £7million earlier this year.
But he scored the only goal against Valencia last night and has clearly impressed Fletcher.
The Scottish midfielder said: "Javier got his head down and finished it fantastically.
"He showed he is going to be a great player for Manchester United.
"He is young and still getting used to the way we play, but he has come in from Mexico and is a real talent."
