Steven Fletcher credits his great form at Burnley to manager Owen Coyle playing him as striker.
The striker, who swapped Hibs for Burnley in a £3m summer switch, feels he is more settled after being employed in a more familiar central role.
Fletcher said: "At first, the gaffer started me wide on the right in those early games but, after a bit, he put me through the middle and I've not looked back."
The Scottish forward has responded by scoring six goals for the Clarets - the latest coming in the 3-3 draw at Manchester City.
"Since the gaffer took a chance on me I'm feeling a lot more confident and able to cope with big games and big opponents," added Fletcher. "I certainly don't stand back and look at them like they're special."
