Fleetwood fight off Man Utd, Arsenal to keep hold of Billy Crellin

Fleetwood Town has fought off interest from England's biggest clubs to keep hold of Billy Crellin.

The Sun says England U17 keeper Crellin has signed a new deal at Fleetwood - to keep him away from Premier League big guns.

The 17-year-old was being watched by Manchester United, Arsenal and Everton after being part of England's youth team winning the World Cup in India.

But he will stay in League One after agreeing fresh terms to stay at Highbury Stadium until 2020.

Crellin wants to compete for senior football soon rather than move to the top-flight to be part of their Academy set-up.
