Fleetwood Town boss Joey Barton still maintains his grudge against AC Milan striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic.

Barton clashed with the Swede seven years ago when he was with Marseille and Ibrahimovic was playing for PSG in France.

"PSG had all of its superstars and they were very arrogant, I think," Barton recalled to L'Equipe.

"Even with the press, when Zlatan passed in front of the journalists without a word or a look ... I said to myself: OK, I don't care who you are. You speak badly of everyone in the country, someone must say no.

"I do not accept anyone's contempt."
