Flamengo vice-president Marcos Braz admits they're trying to close a deal for Inter Milan striker Gabriel Barbosa.

Gabigol is available after completing his loan with Santos and is in talks with West Ham.

Flamengo are also keen to take last season's top-scorer, but the Nerazzurri want to recoup as much of the €33.5m they paid as they possibly can.

“Gabigol is a player under contract," Braz told Fox Sports Brazil.

“We're waiting for Inter, but this is a very complicated negotiation."
