FK Pohronie chiefs are delighted with the early impact of James Weir.
The former Manchester United and Hull City midfielder has a goal an assist in his first three games for the Slovakian outfit.
Pohronia coach Mikulas Radvanyi said, "He's a great boy, humble, unthinking, he showed us in preseason that he knew the ball. Usable for various positions in the midfield formation.
"He is also taken by the boys and I believe that he will help us in the fight to avoid relegation."
Sporting director Miroslav Filipko also stated, “We were looking for quality and through my contacts we came across this boy. He first came to show in the winter and we decided on him.
"We are looking forward to him showing his potential in midfield and helping us in the position chosen by coach Radványi."
