Firmino set for crunch Liverpool talks amid Juventus interest

Roberto Firmino will hold talks with Liverpool this week amid interest from Juventus.

The Mirror says Reds bosses will sit down with Firmino and his advisors amid interest from Italian giants Juventus, who are said to be planning a £20m swoop for the 30-year-old.

Liverpool's feared attacking trio of Mohamed Salah, Sadio Mane and Firmino has already been broken up since the season ended. Mane agreed to joined German champions Bayern Munich, ending his successful six-year spell on Merseyside. Salah, however, has just agreed a new three-year deal with the Reds that will make him the highest paid player in the club's history, on a reported £350,000 per week.

Firmino has seen his game time reduce since the arrivals of Diogo Jota and Luis Diaz, and although Mane has now gone, new signing Darwin Nunez is expected to play down the middle of the front three for Liverpool.
