Departing Liverpool striker Roberto Firmino has decided to stay in Europe next season.

Firmino will leave Liverpool this summer after eight years at Anfield.

Firmino's contract has entered the final few months and he has been free to speak to clubs about a pre-contract agreement outside of England since the New Year.

Football Insider says Firmino has decided that he would prefer join a side in Europe next season - despite clubs from Saudi Arabia and MLS having already shown interest in signing him.

Indeed, St Louis have made contact with Firmino's camp in recent days.
