Fiorentina are reportedly interested in Liverpool's Fenerbache loanee Lazar Markovic.

The Reds sent the 21-year-old to the Istanbul-based outfit this summer after he failed to impress during his first season with the Merseyside club.

Markovic has since performed so well during his loan spell with Fenerbache that the Turkish club wish to sign him to a permanent deal.

However, Italian newspaper La Nazione is reporting Fiorentina are also interested in the Serbian.

It is understood Markovic is eager to test himself in Italy's top flight and will seriously consider the move if La Viola make Liverpool an offer.
