Fiorentina have sounded out Crystal Palace midfielder Yohan Cabaye.

Sky Italia says Viola have approached Palace about a price for the France international.

Cabaye could be tempted by a move to Italy - dependent on Palace's January market moves.

The problem for Fiorentina is Cabaye's personal demands, though Palace could be prepared to allow him to leave for a cut-price fee.

The veteran midfielder has also been linked with a return to France.
