Fiorentina signing Luis Muriel has explained turning down AC Milan.

Muriel has joined the Viola on-loan from Sevilla.

“Yes, Milan had also been after me but I'd already given my word and I didn't retrace my steps," said the striker at his official unveiling on Friday.

“I kept thinking Fiorentina were the right place for me. I worked hard to come here and I'm happy I did.

“The best Muriel? I think you saw it in Udine and Samp, when I played with guys like Di Natale and Quagliarella. They helped me to make a lot."
