Fiorentina have dismissed interest from Manchester City for Federico Chiesa.

The exciting young winger has been tracked by City this season and Sky Italia says they've attempted to open talks with Fiorentina about a fee for the midfielder.

City intermediaries have made an initial offer - which has been laughed out of Florence by Fiorentina's board.

Chiesa also attracted enquiries from City last summer - with the same result.

City are shopping in Italy to boost their midfield options and are also interested in Napoli midfielder Jorginho.
