Fiorentina are ready to hand Giacomo Bonaventura a new deal.

La Viola are aiming to extend the midfielder's contract by 12 months.

Bonaventura has been a regular starter under Vincenzo Italiano this season.

The 32-year-old has scored one goal, delivered four assists in eight appearances in all competitions, and is destined to spend at least one more year in Florence.
