Fiorentina are eyeing former Roma coach Paulo Fonseca.

The Viola need to find a new coach after splitting with Rino Gattuso just weeks into his appointment.

RAI Toscana says Fiorentina have dropped talks with Spezia coach Vincenzo Italiano and are now turning to Fonseca.

Former Napoli coach Rafa Benitez is also being considered.

Fiorentina president Rocco Commisso is targeting a foreign coach and is also interested in speaking with Leeds United manager Marcelo Bielsa.
