Fiorentina president Rocco Commisso has confirmed coach Beppe Iachini for now.

The pair met yesterday, along with sporting director Daniele Prade, after just one win from the first four games of the season.

"We continue with Iachini, it has never been in discussion," Commisso told Tuttomercatoweb. “I read a lot of fake news, but as I said the other day, you have to worry about saying and doing the right things.

“This is important. I reaffirmed our confidence in Iachini, we have to do better because I didn't like the team, but I repeat that there was no meeting with Sarri.

“We talked about the match, which I didn't like. Now, we will talk to the team, I think the team are strong and you can't draw a match like the one against Spezia.

“This week I'll talk to the players, we must stick together. We are working for the same targets, Florence wants to see the team."
