Fiorentina president Rocco Commisso insists he's fully committed to the club.
The American is adamant he will oversee the building of their new training centre.
He said, "Yes, I'm not running away. I'm 71 and I want to do something important. My goal is to leave something in Florence and Fiorentina.
"This club has never had anything of its own, now we will do the sports centre and in the next few days we will turn the first stone, investing a lot of money. Fortunately this investment is outside the Financial Fair Play."
On Franck Ribery, Commisso added: "Maybe he will stay but it is still too early to talk about it, in the coming months we will see who will stay and who will leave."
