Fiorentina director Joe Barone insists coach Vincenzo Italiano will be staying where he is.

Italiano has been linked with champions Napoli as Luciano Spalletti steps down.

“He has a contract, I want to make that clear, and these need to be respected," Barone told DAZN

“Every time we are about to play a top level game, stories emerge that are trying to destabilise our work.

"We are happy with our work and, above all, with our future, with the Viola Park project and youth academy that we need to help grow."
