Fiorentina director Giancarlo Antognoni has welcomed new additions Kevin-Prince Boateng and Pol Lirola.

The pair have arrived from Sassuolo.

Antognoni said, “Boateng is an experienced player who has won a great deal, he's still only 32 and has plenty to give.

"He's in great shape physically, is powerful, but also has good technique and is always decisive.

“Lirola is a lad who started out in the Juve youth academy and then did very well at Sassuolo. We are happy to have brought in a reinforcement in an area of the team where we were lacking."
