Fiorentina coach Cesare Prandelli remains confident of progress after drawing 1-1 at home with PSV Eindhoven in the first-leg of their UEFA Cup quarterfinal.

Adrian Mutu's goal was cancelled out by Danny Koevermans and Prandelli said: "In the second half we didn't get to play very much at all. We tried to raise the tempo, but they are a great team and did well to keep possession and slow it down. Now we will go to Holland and try to score away goals.

"We must not focus on necessarily what went wrong with us, but rather the fact PSV are a great team who came into this competition via the Champions League and played very well tonight.

"We are fighting for fourth place in Serie A and are in the UEFA Cup quarter-finals. You really cannot ask for more from the team than this."
