Fiorentina coach Stefano Pioli insists the departure of Milan Badelj next month is no certainty.

After victory over Sampdoria in the Coppa Italia, Pioli was asked tonight about Badelj's situation.

The midfielder has been linked with a move away in January.

But Pioli said: “We'll keep an eye on various situations and if there is the opportunity to improve the squad, then we'll try to take it. Badelj is not in our thoughts for January."
