Fiorentina coach Vincenzo Montella is pleased with their swoop for Alessandro Diamanti.

Diamanti is due to make his debut against Chievo Verona.

Montella said: "He is very eager and enthusiastic. We'll see how he does in today's last training session. El Hamdaoui and Marin had problems this week, so they are out, while Neto is in the squad.

"Do I expect more signings? The club knows what I think and we'll see what we can do, even if we have too many players right now."
