Fiorentina coach Vincenzo Italiano was left pleased with their 3-3 draw with Salernitana.
Italiano was pleased with his players after the see-sawing game.
He said, "The balance of the match was good, as you know we all have to face important matches and having this character will help. I hold on to the desire not to lose, the desire to come back today against a team that puts everyone in difficulty at home.
"Getting to these matches with enthusiasm and confidence is important. We conceded a goal in the first situation, misreading a vertical ball but then we played, proposed, came back, we were never at the mercy of the opponent and that's where it can be.
"The three goals are avoidable, we could have done more but overturning it three times is not easy.
"That's what I want to point out: we're in our 51st match and the boys never give up on the game, they always go strong, they always give their all. We'll need this temperament. There will be the Conference semi-final and the Coppa Italia final, we'll need it."
