Fiorentina sports chief Pantaleo Corvino has cooled talk that they're opening new contract talks with Adrian Mutu.

The Romania international is tied to the Viola until 2011 and Corvino said: "It's just talk. But it can create negative feelings. It shows a lack of respect."
