Fiorentina boss Vincenzo Montella isn't panicking after their thrashing by Lazio.

Fiorentina meet AS Roma on Thursday night in the Europa League.

"The same thing happened to Atletico Madrid last year - they were defeated after a string of victories," said Montella.

"It happens in football. It's a shame, but we're looking ahead.

"They were better than us, regardless of any absences we may have had in our squad.

"But we know how to lift ourselves back up. Our team always wants to win, especially after a poor result."
