Fiorentina coach Sinisa Mihajlovic has paid tribute to skipper Riccardo Montolivo.

Montolivo has been playing since the start of the season with injury.

Mihajlovic said: "Riccardo Montolivo has an ankle problem and has been carrying that injury for quite some time.

"He will continue to play with painkilling injections, then we will see. He is the captain and is setting a great example, as he plays and does not cry about it."
