Fiorentina adviser Joe Barone has confirmed a new deal for Bartlomiej Dragowski.

Barone insists the goalkeeper is staying.

“Dragowski is our player, he always has been, and shows that our youth academy does work," said Barone.

“There was a contract renewal, we are very happy with the work he is doing, just as we are happy with Vincenzo Montella's team."

Barone also welcomed the arrival of Kevin-Prince Boateng.

“Giovanni Simeone has a lot of Serie A experience and on an international stage too, while Kevin-Prince-Boateng arrives at Sassuolo as a VIP – Very Important Player."
