Bolton were the more dominant side in the season opener with Fulham and were unlucky not to take all three points, coming close on a number of occasions.
The closest chance coming when midfielder Stuart Holden hit the post with just over ten minutes remaining but Cottagers keeper David Stockdale did well to thwart most of Bolton's forward forays and gain his side a valuable point away from home under new boss Mark Hughes.
