Filipe Luis pleased to make Chelsea debut

Filipe Luis enjoyed making his Chelsea debut this week against WAC RZ Pellets.

The former Atletico Madrid fullback started in the 1-1 draw.

Luis told chelseafc.com: "It was really nice to play for the first time in a Chelsea shirt.

"It's still very new for me in terms of tactics and relationships with my team-mates, but my adaptation has been good. I know I'm not in the best condition physically yet but with training that will come and I will be ready to start the season.

"The first half was quite easy because we had the ball and controlled the game, I didn't really have any difficulties on my side of the pitch. We played against a good side, in the second half I was really tired but an hour was perfect for me. The most important thing was that I didn't pick up any injuries and I felt good."
