Luis Figo has declared he wants to play on with Inter Milan next season.

At yesterday's title celebrations, Figo said: "I have not played for half the championship, but it is good to see the joy of the people and work of the team. I'm glad that the team has achieved a major title, in a difficult season.

"I'd like to play on and I do not want to leave football due to an injury."
