FIGC president Gabriele Gravina admits Serie A could be suspended after shocking incidents around Inter Milan's win over Napoli.

Inter's 1-0 win against Napoli was marred by four fans being stabbed outside San Siro, one dying from a collision with a van and Kalidou Koulibaly receiving racist abuse from Nerazzurri supporters.

“It's something we'll consider," Gravina told Il Messaggero.

“Now we need to take a moment and coordinate ourselves: we have a problem of public order and as such it must be managed, as well as the fact of playing or not.

“I'm worried about this surreal climate. I'm not a psychologist, but it's clear that some of the players were very nervous at San Siro.

“Right now I'm in a period of reflection because what happened was very serious. We'll hear from the ministry and CONI and then we'll decide.

“We're verifying whether there were three calls and no stop, but it seems only one was made. Today the prosecutor will intervene and say his piece, but what happened was very bad.

“The players were too nervous on the field. The referee will write what he thought, but if he made some mistakes then he'll also be looked at."
