FIGC import laws force Inter Milan to end pursuit of Croatia prospect Marko Livaja

Inter Milan have been forced to pull back from a deal for Hajduk Split striker Marko Livaja.

The 17 year-old Croatian is regarded highly across Europe and was all set to join Inter this summer.

But FIGC's new foreign signing laws have forced Inter drop their interest after the arrival of Philippe Coutinho from Vasco da Gama.

It is now certain Livaja will be lost to Serie A football, with several French clubs now keen to snap him up.
