Real Madrid are facing FIFA punishment over their youth recruitment methods.
AS says Fifa's Disciplinary Committee, headed by Swiss Claudio Sulser, reached their decision on the case back in September, but it hasn't been ratified because Fifa former secretary Jerome Valcke was suspended for corruption before he could sign the document. The clubs involved still don't know the outcome of the procedure.
Both Real and Atletico Madrid have been the subject of investigation.
Fifa have investigated the two clubs to determine if they strictly followed the rules set out in article 19 of the Regulations on the Status and Transfer of Players, which prohibits transfers of players under 18 years old, except in certain circumstances.
El Mundo Deportivo says the final ruling finds against Real Madrid, who will be hit with a transfer ban for two transfer windows, the same as Barcelona received.
