FIFA order West Ham to pay Kral fee to Spartak Moscow

FIFA have ordered West Ham to pay the outstanding loan fee of Alex Kral to Spartak Moscow.

The Hammers owe €5m to Spartak for the loan of the Czech Republic midfielder, with the case taken to FIFA last year.

“The FIFA Players' Status Chamber has ruled on our club's application against the English West Ham. The Londoners were ordered to pay the full amount under the transfer agreement for the loan of Alex Kral, plus due interest," stated Spartak.

"If West Ham do not pay this amount within 45 days, the club may be banned from registering new players, and after three transfer windows, the case may be referred to the FIFA Disciplinary Committee."

Kral is now playing with Schalke. West Ham have argued they could not pay Spartak due to financial sanctions on Russia after the invasion of Ukraine.
