The Premier League has appointed Josh Smith to the role of global head of media sales, reports www.fcbusiness.co.uk
Smith currently serves as director of television services at Fifa and will take up his new role at the Premier League at the beginning of October.
He will be charged with leading the League's sales process across multiple international markets.
Paul Molnar, director of broadcasting at the Premier League, said: "He has developed an excellent reputation across the industry and brings a wealth of experience from his time at Team Marketing, BT Sport, and most recently Fifa."
