French Football Federation president Noel Le Graet feels Manchester United hero Patrice Evra is struggling with retirement.

Evra has caused outrage in France with his behaviour on social media in recent weeks.

Le Graet told Le Parisien: "There are two characters. Whoever played with us under Didier Deschamps was perfect. He was well seen by the youngest, he was very tuned in. He stopped in time.

"His end of career with Marseille then in England was average ... he has a little trouble growing old. Since he is no longer in the action of the game, he has trouble repositioning himself as a man."
