Father of Luka Romero insists Real Mallorca record-breaker won't get carried away

The father of Luka Romero says his son won't get carried away after his record-breaking debut for Real Mallorca.

Talk had already begun about Romero's talent and at the age of 15 years and 219 days old, the playmaker got a brief glimpse of what life is like in LaLiga Santander in defeat to Real Madrid.

"We understand that he has achieved something that is very difficult, but the most difficult thing is to keep up this level," Diego Romero, Luka's father, told Radio MARCA.

"He is 15 years old and we believe that he has his feet on the ground, both at the club and in the family, we're working to keep him on track."

At Mallorca, Romero has an attacking-minded coach in Vicente Moreno, which his father believes will aid him.

"For a 15-year-old boy to be surrounded by these coaches is gold dust," he said.

"Continuing with this work day in, day out, he will build his own path."
