FFA chief Buckley confident Socceroos will get the right man

Football Federation Australia CEO Ben Buckley is confident the Australian national team will be able to install a quality manager to replace Pim Verbeek.

Buckley has revealed that there is plenty of interest in the Socceroos top job which will become vacant following the World Cup and believes that with the quality of candidates at present, the man to take over the role will be top-class.

"There has been an excellent response from many, many different coaches around the world," Buckley told AAP.

"The calibre of that response has been extremely high. We're confident going forward we'll have the right candidate in place."
