Feyenoord are exploring the prospect of re-signing Manchester City striker John Guidetti.

The Swede is impressing on-loan this season with Celtic and will leave City in the summer.

RTV Rijnmond says Feyenoord, convinced about Guidetti's long-term fitness, are preparing a pre-contract offer for him to consider. The striker's City deal expires in June.

During a previous loan spell at Feyenoord, Guidetti scored 20 goals in 23 appearances in the 2010/2011 Eredivise season.

Celtic boss Ronny Deila has also spoken of signing the young striker permanently this summer.
