Former Manchester United and Arsenal star Robin van Persie looks likely to make a return to one of his former clubs.
Van Persie is currently plying his trade for Turkish side Fenerbahce and although his contract with the club expires in 2018, the Dutchman has hinted that he could leave the Istanbul outfit next summer.
Now the former Gunners and United striker has gone on to speak regarding a potential exit from Fenerbahce and has revealed that a return to one of his former clubs in Holland, either Feyenoord or Excelsior, is a strong possibility.
Van Persie said, according to presenter Bart Nolles, who wrote the following on his Twitter page: "Coming back to the Netherlands is becoming a serious option.
"And then only at Feyenoord and Excelsior."
