Feyenoord director Koevermans unsure of price for Arsenal target Kokcu

Feyenoord director Mark Koevermans admits the value of wantaway midfielder Orkun Kokcu dropped.

Kokcu is a target for Arsenal and has also been linked with Chelsea in recent weeks.

It was suggested the youngster could leave for €25m, but Koevermans admits coronavirus restrictions could see the valuation dramatically fall.

"And they offer seven million euros in the winter (January 2021)," Koevermans told Algemeen Dagblad. "You take it then? It's tricky, though.

"What does Ajax still get for Donny van de Beek? The same amount as six months ago? I do not know."

He added, "And if we look at the purchase of players: do you have to capture players now, while the crisis may cause the Brazilian and Argentinian markets to turn upside down and talented players to be picked up for a pittance?"
