The Gunners have already opened talks with Feyenoord over a potential £23m deal for Kokcu .
Advocaat, who had a short stint in the Premier League as Sunderland boss, has now addressed the rumours surrounding his player.
“It seems that what I read is true," he told Fox Sports. “But no one has yet come to Feyenoord [to make an offer or hold talks]."
Asked whether or not he felt Kokcu could adapt to Premier League football with the Gunners, the 72-year-old replied: “I think he fits everywhere."
