Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola has welcomed the return of Fernandinho ahead of Wednesday's trip to West Ham.
City's Brazil midfielder has been sent off three times in his past six appearances, his latest dismissal against Burnley earning a four-game suspension.
"He's so important," the City boss said at his pre-match press conference. "We've played a lot of games without him, and I'm happy he's back.
"He's not an aggressive player. He's tough. He's one of the nicest guys I've ever met. We accept the ban and don't complain."
